 GMAIL SECURITY TIPS 


follow the steps below to help keep your gmail account secure : 

  • from a security checkup page you can check your device's recent security activity two step verification third party access and saved passwords 
  • from the password generator choose a strong password you can use last pass norton avast or nordpass and much more generators are available   
  • at the top right click more then click help after that choose about google chrome to check for an update and see the current browser version on your computer 
  •  if you're getting emails you don't want in your gmail inbox you can block or unsubscribe from the sender first of all open the message in the top right click more then block the sender and for unsubscribe open the message next to the sender's name click unsubscribe or change preferences 
  • gmail tires to keep spam suspicious and phishing emails out of your inbox but sometimes messages get through so in this case click the left top of the message then from the drop down menu choose report spam or phishing
